This appears to be happening to users regardless of which adblocker they're using, leading us to conclude that YouTube is experimenting with some new, particularly aggressive technology. We have not been able to replicate this problem on our end, but many of our users have confirmed that signing out of their YouTube account also fixes any recent problems with YouTube advertising, such as seeing unblocked ads, the skip button disappearing, or error messages appearing in place of ads. YouTube may be testing some advanced ad-blocking circumvention on you if you've recently started seeing YouTube advertisements despite having AdBlock enabled.
